The Peru International (XVI PERU INTERNATIONAL 2011 BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIPS) tournament is being scheduled to be held at Lima, Peru from 14th Apr-17th Apr-2011.
Aditya Elango, is the lone Indian participant at the Peru International, and he is seeded (7/8) in the tournament. He is scheduled to play against Mario Cuba of Peru in the first round of the main draw.
Michael Lahnsteiner, current ranked no.64 in the world, is the top seed in the men's singles.
Aditya Elango (current world rank: no.91) would be looking forward to end his recent string of average performances and come up with a good performance & preferably a title win at the Peru international tournament.
UPDATE:13-APR-2011
It seems like Aditya has pulled out of the Peru Open tournament as per the updated draw list. Haven't yet had a word with him, to confirm with him and know the reason.
