Ashwini Ponnappa - Notable Badminton Achievements:
Ashwini won the Gold medal at the Commonwealth Games-2010 at New Delhi in the women's doubles event, partnering with Jwala Gutta. She was also the winner of the Silver Medal at the Commonwealth Games-2010 mixed team event.
Ashwini had twice won the National Junior Badminton championship titles in the girl's doubles events in the years 2006 and 2007, partnering Nitya Sosale.
She also won the Gold medal at the South Asian games held in 2006.
