Saina Nehwal Achievements

Saina Nehwal, India's best badminton player, and one of the top achievers in the world of badminton is currently ranked No.3 as per the latest Badminton World Federation's world rankings. Her achievements on the badminton court have put India on the global badminton map, and shown the world that the Chinese domination of the sport can be countered successfully.
Achievements of Saina Nehwal in badminton:
  • Saina won the Gold Medal at the Czechoslovkia Junior Open badminton tournament.
  • Won the Silver medal at the Commonwealth Youth Games badminton team event.
  • Nehwal won the Gold Medal at the Asian Satellite badminton tournament.
Saina achieved her first major international title win on the senior professional badminton circuit by winning the Phillipines open title in 2006.
