Russian Open White Nights-2011 Results


The Russian Open International Challenge badminton tournament (White Nights-2011) that was played at St. Petersburg in Russia from the 6th to 10th Jul-2011, came to an end today. The final match scores and results of this badminton tournament are as below.

Indonesia emerged with good results, winning the Gold medal as well as the Silver medal in the men's doubles and women's singles badminton events. The Russian pair of Irina Hlebko / Anastasia Russkikh won the women's doubles title. In the final match of the men's singles Jen Hao HSU of Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) defeated Derek Wong Zi Liang of Singapore in 3 sets by a score of 21-18, 14-21, 21-12.

Runner-up: Derek WONG ZI LIANG (Singapore)

Women's Singles: 
Winner: Fransiska RATNASARI (Indonesia)
Runner-up: Maria Kristin YULIANTI (Indonesia)

Women's Doubles: 
Winner: Irina HLEBKO / Anastasia RUSSKIKH (Russia)
Runners-up: Tatyana BIBIK / Olga GOLOVANOVA (Russia)

Mixed Doubles:
Winner: Danny Bawa CHRISNANTA / Vanessa NEO YU YAN (Singapore)
Runner-ups: Baptiste CAREME / Audrey FONTAINE (France)
