Sayali Gokhale

Sayali has been coached by Anil Modak at the PPBA (Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy) feeder centre at Pune, that started in Jul-1999. She won the National badminton championship title in 2009, and is currently ranked 100 in the world, as per the BWF badminton world rankings.

Notable Achievements:

2008:
Sayali Gokhale won the Syria Open International badminton championship.

2009:
Sayali Gokhale became the National Badminton champion in the women's singles when she defeated
at Indore.

Later the same year, Sayali Gokhale won the Spanish Open title at Madrid, defeating Lianne Tan of Belgium 21-9, 21-18 in 23 minutes.

2010:
Sayali won the Tata Open Badminton tournament defeating Neha Pandit in the finals. (Before this match Sayali prevailed over Trupti Murgunde in the semi-finals in a marathon 70-minute effort)
